Sir Manasseh Meyer International School (SMMIS) is a not for profit, child centred school that offers a rigorous international education for children of 18 months to 16 years old. We are a diverse community that welcomes students of all nationalities and faiths.
Our educational philosophy is one that teaches resilience, collaboration, independence and perseverance. We are a smaller school which allows us to tailor learning to each child, enabling them to flourish and reach their full potential.
The intimate Pre-School is inspired by the principles of Reggio Emilia. In Primary School, the IPC is blended with the Singapore Maths Curriculum and the UK National Curriculum for Literacy. In Secondary School, the IMYC leads into the globally recognised iGCSEs. Mandarin and Hebrew are taught as modern foreign languages.
Established in 1996, SMMIS moved into a state-of-the-art campus in Sembawang in 2016. The facilities include dedicated subject specialist rooms that include science labs, a Makerspace, Music, Art and Drama spaces. Other facilities include a 25m swimming pool, indoor sports hall, rooftop AstroTurf pitch and a 450-seater auditorium.
