Head to Japan’s iconic Steak Misono to see this delicious marbled meat cooked and served right in front of you!
Steak Misono – the “originator of Teppanyaki” – has a worldwide reputation amongst gourmands who seek the authentic taste of Kobe beef.
The oldest Teppanyaki steak restaurant in the world, it has been serving original beef steak selections, including the world-renowned Kobe and Japanese black beef, since 1945. With its rich marbled flavour, this quality sirloin has always been the restaurant’s specialty.
The First of Its Kind
The first Teppanyaki restaurant in Japan, it’s the first of its kind to include Kobe beef in its menu across all outlets. Here, you can enjoy Kobe beef as well as other carefully selected Japanese beef, salmon, lobster and seasonal vegetables.
Savour the finest taste of Western-inspired steaks with a Japanese flair as the chefs prepare your dishes right in front of you, using seasonings such as natural salt from Akou, black pepper and garlic. With a relaxing ambience amplified by the sizzling of tantalising steak and lively chatter among friends and loved ones, it’s the perfect place for classy comfort food in Japan.
In addition to its Kobe beef dinner ($266.76), the Wagyu beef is also available during lunch ($121.25). Try its garlic rice ($12.13) – first introduced to Japan and the world in this very restaurant, and with an authentic unaltered recipe since 1948.
Muslim-friendly Fave
A favourite amongst Muslim guests, its flagship restaurant in Kobe serves halal-certified Kobe beef ($424.38) on the seventh floor of the famous Misono Building.
With food and utensils prepared and stored separately, Misono takes pride in offering the world’s first Halal Kobe Beef Teppanyaki Course! There’s even an option for them to choose specific teppan (iron plate) and cooking styles.
Its Misono Kobe Main Store offers the finest sirloin of the rare halal Kobe beef. For quality assurance, the halal Kobe beef is strictly stored in a dedicated freezer without being opened until the customer confirms the certificate and the identification number of the meat are the same, upon request.
