CRAVING Comfort Food? This Surprisingly AFFORDABLE Restaurant In Singapore Will Hit The Spot!

Five-star eats at budget friendly prices? You’ll find plenty at Daily Affairs.

A 10-year F&B industry veteran with experience from some of SG’s biggest five-star hotels, Oh Qihao always dreamed of starting his own cafe where he could “serve comfort food and interact with customers”.

When he started his cafe in May 2017, he named it Daily Affairs because he had “hoped the place can be a great option for meetups with families and friends on a daily basis.”

A Delicious Step

Today, business is booming and Qihao finds joy in keeping up with SG’s constantly changing food trends. “The best and scariest competitor is yourself,” he confesses. “To keep up, we need to
create new from time to time.”

Daily Affairs currently serves various set lunches and fresh salads, which consist of eight different condiments. There’s also an a la carte menu to choose from. Qihao’s favourite? “I love beef! So I have signature dishes such as the Braised Beef in Chinese Wine.” Or, treat yourself to the wide selection of cakes or get the Red Velvet Waffles, baked to order and served with scoops of ice cream. Yum.

Celebrate Good Times

Little ones can partake in the a la carte kids’ menu, and even join the cafe’s playgroup. Daily Affairs also rents out its space for birthday and office parties, and can cater for events. Visit the Daily Affairs website to find out more!
