1. Resort World Sentosa’s celebrated Restaurants
Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) has got you covered this jolly season! With its newly curated festive menus, enjoy some delicious roasts and goodies this Christmas. From 1 November 2021 till 2 January 2022, you can enjoy the year-end holiday season with all kinds of seasonal delights such as delicious festive roasts and sweet treats. RWS has its newly opened CURATE CUCINA PISANA, which features the finest Pisan produce imported from boutique Pisan producers. Start off the festivities with porcini mushrooms and chestnut soup, followed by a classic Venison Striploin Christmas dish by Chef Davide. Finish sweet with a selection of decadent desserts, such as soft nougat torrone, cantuccini cookies and more. This four-course meal is at $148 per person from 1 December 2021 to 2 January 2022.

Chef Damian D’Silva is Chef Partner at a new restaurant – Rempapa! Officially opened 4 December 2021, it is a multi-cultural restaurant serving the flavours of the Chinese, Peranakan, Eurasian, Indian and Malay cuisines. This new all-day dining restaurant offers Breakfast, Lunch, Afternoon Tea, Dinner and Drinks! 5. Christmas takeaways from RE&S Enterprise
Get ready for a Japanese-inspired Christmas dinner at RE&S Enterprises. Bringing to the table dishes that will make you go oishii, RE&S Enterprises is offering seasonal mainstays that combine traditional Yuletide dishes with uniquely Japanese flavours. This year, there are 19 takeaway offerings that you can enjoy at home for a safe and comforting Christmas dinner from Ichiban Boshi, Ichiban Sushi, Kuriya Japanese Market and Gokoku Japanese Bakery.
Begin the festivities with some sushi and sashimi platters such as the Merry Maki Platter ($36.80), which is thematically arranged in a shape of a Christmas tree. For a fun kid and family bonding activity, consider the Do You Want to Build-a-Sushi? DIY Sushi Set ($38.80), where you can be your own sushi chef and dream up endless sushi creations. To celebrate the end of the year, CÉ LA VI has curated a series of seasonal menus for you. Some offerings include a month-long festive five-course dinner ($128+), a five-course Christmas Eve and Christmas Day dinner menu ($188+). Enjoy Pan Seared Foie Gras with sea urchin, pineapple chip, and berry chutney and Red Wine Glaze Wagyu Beef Short Rib with parsnip kombucha puree and salted Kampot pepper. It also includes an indulgent New Year’s Eve five-course dinner menu so that you can start your year with good food and good vibes. Each menu is thoughtfully curated with a combination of traditional festive classics and contemporary Asian cuisine.
For those looking to indulge in an afternoon of bubbles, CÉ LA VI is inviting guests to their free-flow brunch from 12 to 3 p.m. on Christmas Day and Boxing Day. 7. Griglia Open Fire Italian Kitchen
Indulge in a grigliata-style celebration at Griglia Open Fire Italian Kitchen during this festive season! With a brand new Christmas Set menu ($148) specially curated by Chef-Partner Andrea De Paola, this new menu showcases their innovative takes on symbolic festive dishes prepared using traditional methods and modern techniques, cooked over charcoal.
This new menu includes Hokkaido scallop Crudo with cauliflower and caviar, followed by Chef Andrea’s take on the festive cooked ham in Zucchini flower with Iberico pork and truffle. Burratina with eggplant caponata presents a lighter version of the Sicilian classic appetiser. Roasted lamb with zucchini and oregano cream draws on the time-honoured celebratory dish that signifies purity on this festive occasion. There are also pasta courses and even Grass-fed wagyu beef striploin and Spanish turbot fillet.
Finish off sweet with the dessert Panettonemisu – a glorious combination of panettone and tiramisu. This Griglia Christmas Menu is only available on 24 and 25 December, so book your tables early!

8. MO BAR at Mandarin Oriental
Start the merry feasting with your family at MO BAR at Mandarin Oriental. Raise a toast to a new year with some delicious eggnog, Crystal Holiday ($24+). With its new and special Festive Afternoon Tea ($52+), you’ll be able to experience an eclectic range of East Asian teas and scrumptious bites like its Charcoal Toast, that’s topped with roasted pumpkin, spinach and feta cheese. Enjoy some succulent turkey, pepper jack cheese and onion marmalade presented in a Quesadilla Roll.
Those who have sweet tooth will be pleased to devour the cream cheese bavarois with blueberry jelly and red fruit pain de genes. Don’t forget the fluffy Earl Grey Chantilly with cherry compote and chocolate souffle sponge. Bring a guest and enjoy this festive tea and desserts for just $98+.
Launched on 8 December, Permata’s new progressive Nusantara menu illustrates creativity and diversity of the highest tier. Led by Culinary Direction Chef Mel Dean, this menu presents ethnic indigenous flavours in a classy, modern way. At The Finder, we had the pleasure of trying starter samples like Ulam rice ball, beef salad and ceviche. We also tried their Soto Banjar, which was chicken consomme, rice cakes, quail egg and vermicelli!
The Rawon Risotto was our favourite – Beef stew with Ramen Egg, Tempe Chips, Sambal Belacan and more! It was such a comforting and heartwarming dish, with satisfying textures that would crunch in your mouth. Last but certainly not least was dessert, Cek Mek Molek! This sweet dessert was mashed fried sweet Potato with crushed almond, vanilla ice cream and Espresso caramel. Calling it decadent was an understatement!

Celebratory dinners begin with canapés to whet the appetite, followed by a refreshing appetiser of Alaskan king crab with cauliflower and finger lime, adorned with Oscietra caviar. For the pasta course, gems from the sea are brought together in the house-made tagliolini; the golden twirls are crowned with scallops and bafun uni from Hokkaido.
If you’d rather have a fancy early lunch with friends, dig into the Sumptuous Christmas Brunch ($128) on 25 December. Brunch will be served sharing style, with 9 lavish starters, 2 mouth-watering kinds of pasta, 2 main dishes and a selection of decadent festive desserts. New Years Eve Dinners are also an option for those who wish to start off the New Year with a feast.

11. The Fat Kid Bakery
The Fat Kid Bakery is showing up to the Christmas party with its new seasonal Sourdough Bombos! Cheesecake lovers should grab its Basque Blue ($5.50), starring the Blu del Moncenisio, a semi-soft Italian blue cheese lending a unique and funky flavour. Or try out more nostalgic flavours such as the rich and nutty Toffee Pecan ($5.50) or refreshing Peppermint Brownie ($5). It’s not Christmas without something boozy, The Fat Kid’s creamy Spiked Eggnog ($5.20) is sure to leave a warm feeling in both your heart and stomach.
