4 Fun Sports Programmes for Kids in Singapore

Whether you hope to train the next Messier, Beckham or Nadal, or are just looking for more outlets for your kids’ seemingly endless stores of energy, we’ve found some fun sports programmes your kids will love.

 

Shaws Little League

One of the oldest kids’ sport programmes in Singapore, Shaws Little League is a popular choice for kids looking to try a variety of sports. Their multi-sport programme includes exposure to volleyball, tennis, basketball, baseball, hockey, rugby, cricket, soccer, golf and athletics, while they also have sport specific lessons for soccer, tennis and cricket. With three locations and classes offered 5 days a week for various age groups, Shaws is convenient for parents and fun for kids (ages 2-12)! Ready Steady Go Kids

Ready Steady Go Kids, Australia’s largest and most reputable multi-sport programme for kids, operates out of 2 locations in Singapore. Perfect for tots ages 2.5 – 6 years, the 12 week sessions will introduce your preschooler to 10 different sports to help them develop a love for fitness. Sports 4 Kids

Looking for a casual sporting programme to get your kids moving while keeping the focus on having fun? Try Sports 4 Kids. Introduce your child to basketball, swimming, soccer, multi-sports, or tennis.  With a 10 to 1 ratio of students to coaches, Sports 4 Kids ensures your child gets the proper attention to help him excel. Sessions take place at various locations such at Dover Court International School, The Cage @ Turf City and Tanglin Trust School with the possibility of organizing swimming lessons at your condo. The multi-sport programme is great for kids as young as two years while basketball, tennis and soccer accommodate kids up to 12 years. $30 per session with package deals available (free trial classes available).

Camp Asia

Well known for their wide variety of holiday programmes, Camp Asia also runs a weekly sports programme, Sports Stars. Choose from soccer (ages 6-14), basketball (ages 5-8), tennis (ages 4-16) or swimming (ages 3-8) and help your budding athlete learn the rules, improve their skills and make new friends in a fun and supportive environment.  Each session is 10 weeks but days and times vary according to sport.
