What are some of the options you can now consider?
Founding Director, Jayne Nadarajoo from White Lodge International Preschool & Childcare answers your questions…
With Covid-19 putting a strain on your financial situation, the options you previously had for your child’s education may not be as viable now. However, there are other more
affordable, quality preschools that offer many of the same benefits.
Which other schools are most suitable?
It is important to look at a school that offers a good quality curriculum which will help your child prepare for primary school and beyond. White Lodge’s pre-primary school preparation programme, for example, helps ready children for either an international or local school setting. In addition, it is worth considering how many physical school days are offered for the school fees.
How can I feel like I’m not sacrificing a great education and after-preschool options for my child?
With the current economic climate, it is important to seek out a school that provides a sense of security for both your child’s education and you. For instance, in the previous term, White Lodge supported the school community by giving back $200,000 in discounts to families as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives, helping to ensure that children get the best education while parents can have peace of mind. After preschool, students who are interested in enrolling at Invictus International School will get preferred placement, provided they meet all the assessment criteria. White Lodge’s pre-primary preparation programme can help smooth the transition for these students
White Lodge admits students all-year round provided they meet the relevant student ratios set for each age group. Admissions start as early as 6 months, with parent and child classes, followed by playgroup classes from 18 months onwards. It looks at early childhood education as an opportunity to give all children the hope that they need for a better day.
