Australian International School (AIS) endeavours to partner parents on the meaningful journey of nurturing inquisitive kids.
With its “Globally Focused, Distinctively Australian” philosophy, AIS is committed to a holistic education that integrates arts, sports and academics into each student’s education. This results in educational excellence in all aspects of its operation – and this is done within a nurturing community that equips them with necessary skills and knowledge.
3 Fast Facts
1. Adaptive and accommodating
AIS deeply respects families’ diverse backgrounds, needs, beliefs and values. The Infant Care Program at the Early Learning Village offers personalised Individual Care Programs, ensuring continuity of care from crib to prom. Your child’s school week can be tailored at AIS by choosing the number of school days and hours your little one attends each week.
2. Room to grow
Everything that the children experience, touch, and play or learn with, at the purpose-built Early Learning Village, has been specifically designed with them in mind. AIS’s unique curriculum draws on the principles of the Reggio Emilia philosophy, which places the child at the centre of the learning experience.
Each Reggio Emilia-inspired classroom has an outdoor playground – allowing for tactile play with sand or water – outfitted with project tables and sensory play equipment.
Supporting babies as young as 2 months old, the Early Learning Village’s Infant Care Pod also provides a stimulating, safe space for children to learn, explore and grow.
3. Staying committed
Even as the pandemic continues to affect lives, AIS is staying true to its mission and focus. While families have been urged to remain home, parents can still reach out to the school and customise their kids’ educational experience through various online platforms.
If you wish to speak to someone to find out more about the school, online consultations are available. Opt for an interactive, one-on-one virtual meeting with an experienced AIS Admissions Manager, and be guided through images of the facilities. Online specialist sessions are also available, so you can learn more about how your child can best be empowered via the curriculum.
If you’re interested in visiting the campus, look out for virtual Open Houses on the AIS website.
“What we love most about the Early Learning Village, apart from its first-class facilities and talented teachers and staff, is how they care, respect and nurture every child of every age. Every single child is made to feel special from the moment he or she walks through the doors. That’s why we chose AIS.”– Adrian and Lynsey Dempsey, parents of Shay, 8, Eilidh, 6, and Ada, 2
