Platinum Yoga is a big studio with a big name, but it also has a big following for its teachers, who offer authentic and well-trained presentations and skills. 5. Hom Yoga

Hom Yoga says its studio offerings are based on the principles of transformation and empowerment through high quality yoga teaching. As yoga has moved from physical to more wholistic here on the Little Red Dot, Hom positions itself as a place to take that journey. SUP Yoga located in East Coast Park was Singapore’s first “studio” to take yoga onto the standup paddle board. Get your water Zen on as you move in and out of yoga poses while balancing on the over-sized surf board to the movement of the ocean. 9. Yoga Mala

Yoga Mala is one studio that stands out for offering not just yoga classes like Hatha, Inversion flow and Sivananda, but also pranayama (breathing exercises) and meditation. It even offers workshop courses in the two areas. Along with its own yoga training academy, the studio offers a strong variety of hatha and other style classes. 10. Jal Yoga 

Introduce futuristic technology to your yoga practice at Jal Yoga studio, which features the coolest (or hottest) thing going: Infrared classes. It is one of the first studios in Singapore that has incorporated infrared technology that allows for comfortable practice when doing yoga and Pilates. Infrared is not as hot and steamy as traditional hot yoga and makes it easier to breath while bringing in warming benefits to your body and soul. 11. Sweatbox Yoga

Boutique studio, Sweatbox Yoga in Bukit Timah, Tras Street or Orchard, will get you feeling hot-hot-hot with its array of hot yoga classes. With names like Hot 26, Hot Core, Hot Flow and Warm stretch, you’ll soon be detoxing and building your own yoga temple inside and out. 12. One Wellness Fitness Club

This Bugis-based studio is a power house of hot yoga, as well yoga therapy, Pilates and Zumba, with tons of merchandise online as well to support your yoga and Pilates journey. It was one of the first heat-ventilated studios to offer hot yoga in Singapore. One major selling point for its roster of classes is that teacher Master Dev was World Yoga Champion representing Singapore in 2008-2009. 16. Shiva Yoga Studio

Shiva Yoga Studio reminds yogis that “Rome wasn’t built in a day.” So, you can build your practice with them at your own pace, from stretching or yin classes to hot yoga and vinyasa. This studio has an interesting series of classes, including Hot Tension Relief, Hatha 3, Back Therapy and Myofascial Release. Its 19 classes offer beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. 17. Urban Yogis

The backdrop of Singapore’s lush Botanic Gardens is a key feature of Urban Yogis’ classes. 18. One Heart

Wellness centre One Heart, located in Kallang, has long been a meeting point for Kundalini-style yogis who want to elevate their mind and body in this special branch of yoga that focuses on your energy centres. In Covid times, KRI-certified teacher Rie is running Zoom classes every Thursday from 12 to 1 p.m. for only $20, a great deal for a great class. If you’re looking for yoga and barre classes in one studio, find On Good Ground in the mindful-minded Joo Chiat neighborhood. Classes include different levels for different yogis, including yoga basics (beginner), vinyasa flow (multi-level), yin-yang (beginner, multi-level) and yoga strength (advanced). More Kundalini and sound healing abounds within The Wise Life Co.’s walls in its Eu Tong Seng St. location at The Central. A real-deal KRI teacher, brings chakra energy to life with her yoga classes with alchemy crystal bowls melded in. Yin yoga and nidra (relaxation) is also on the menu with this studio project that focuses on creating a “heart-centered, purposeful and supportive community for holistic wellness.” The studio specializes in sound meditation, mind-body-energy practices and life coaching, as well as yoga.

21. The Better Movement Studio 

The Better Movement Studio in River Valley is a boutique studio for the person “who is focused and prefers a fuss-free, private and goal-oriented workout session.” One new and interesting feature of the studio is its Face Yoga class. Yep, yoga for your face. Just like body exercises, face yoga works your facial muscles to help you feel good and look younger. The studio also features Pilates and sports massage.
