Pop quiz: If you want your child to learn English from the world’s leading experts, who should you call?
Correct answer: British Council – the U.K.’s international organisation for cultural relations and educational opportunities.
More specifically, British Council Singapore is one of the island’s leading authorities on the English language, as it’s been helping people here learn English since 1947.
Its latest exciting offering? Year-round Study Camps for preschoolers on up to secondary school students.
“At the British Council’s Holiday Study Camps, we use English as a tool to explore the world around us,” explains Course Manager Alex Wilson. “Students get to develop their 21st century skills of communication, collaboration and creativity.” (Watch this video to hear from teachers like Alex and see some of the recent camps in full swing.)
The ultimate goal of these week-long camps, which start anew every Monday throughout the year, just FYI?
Kiddos from 4 to 17 years – and from beginners to advanced learners – can develop their English skills within a safe, fun and supportive environment.
So, if your child speaks a different language at home than at his or her preschool or international school (i.e., considered an English as a Foreign Language, or EFL, speaker), or you simply would like him or her to attain top-notch speaking, writing and reading abilities in English, it’s worth your while to learn more about the British Council’s new Year-Round Study Camps.
