Hot furniture ‘hoods – Singapore has a surprising amount of them!

There are enough international and local furnishing brands, standalone brick-and-mortar shops and mega-malls to make your head spin. Here’s the ultimate list of 10 shopping spots in Singapore to find all the furniture, home decor and homewares you need to make your house a real home.

1. International Merchandising Mart Mall (IMM Mall)

West-siders will be very familiar with Jurong’s IMM Mall. Singapore’s largest outlet mall has more than 90 stores, offering up to 80-percent discounts year-round. And furnishing shops account for 41 of IMM’s total stores. Many also offer design services, for example Space N Living and Spacious Planners have interior design experts to help you spice up your home decor.

But you’re here for the home decor. This mall is home to the Harvey Norman Flagship Store in Singapore where you’ll find the widest range of high- and low-tech home items, from appliances to soft goods, all at competitive prices. If you’re not a fan of haggling over home electronics at places like Sim Lim Square, this store often has pretty good deals on home electronics. Furniture shops like Commune and Grey & Sanders have outlets at this mall, too.
