We may not be an island in the Mediterranean, but Greek restaurants are alive and well on the island of Singapore.
Dishes like grilled octopus, hummus, lamb meatballs and saganaki call diners from all over the city, some with Greek heritage and some without. But most people here agree – including us! – these 5 Greek restaurants in Singapore have the most delicious Greek food around.
These 5 authentic greek restaurants are so good, you will leave saying ‘Opa!’:

3. Alati Divine Greek Cuisine
Telok Ayer’s answer to authentic Greek cuisine is Alati, which means “salt” in Greek. It flies in fresh Greek fish each week, including Lavraki (seabasss), Tsipoura (seabream), Fagri (red porgy) and Milokopi (shi drum). True to its name, this chic Greek restaurant – whose interior is almost entirely white – cooks the fish in its signature salt-baked style or through traditional grilling. Diners who love this corner of Greece praise its Melizanosalata ($17), which is smoked eggplant, red peppers and walnuts, as well as the baklava ($21) dessert.
