A celebration of children’s theatre

It seeks to create magical theatre experiences that cater to both children and adults. Some past productions in this region include: The Wizard of Oz, The Arabian Nights, Puss in Boots, The Enormous Turnip and many more.

International influence

I Theatre has toured its productions to countries like India, the United Kingdom, Japan, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Korea – garnering a truly international audience. It is also part of the Asian Alliance Theatre Festivals for Young Audience (ATYA), an experience that has allowed them to created unique theatre experiences bursting with Asian and Western influences.

What’s new in 2016?

I Theatre is thrilled to bring back The Rainbow Fish after a five-year absence. This wildly popular stage production has gone all over the world, including India, the United States, Australia and the United Kingdom. The upcoming restaging will see The Rainbow Fish and other beloved characters grace the stage once more, joined with brand new characters like Tiny Stripes. I Theatre will also marry various stage techniques acquired over the years, such as magical black light theatre, live action and exquisite original puppet design. First time or not, I Theatre promises to please with this shiny and articulate musical production based on Marcus Pfister’s award-winning children’s storybook.

I Theatre constantly seeks to test out new markets and establish relationships with partners throughout the region to bring the magic of theatre to as many as possible.
