How To Level Up Your Homemade Salads

When customers start requesting bottles of your salad dressing to take home when you’re actually selling salad, you’re doing it right.

Cafe 26 first opened in 1998 in Subiaco, Western Australia, where the family-run restaurant quickly became known for its delish house-made salad dressing.

The cafe’s customers raved about the dressing, but unfortunately, it wasn’t for sale.

All that changed when a loyal customer brought in an empty bottle and pleaded to be able to buy some dressing and take it home. Soon enough, the flavoursome, preservative-free salad dressing was flying off the cafe’s shelves and being sold by local grocers and produce stores.

There are currently six products to choose from.

Need a little extra zing with your leafy greens? Add a dollop of Cafe 26’s dressing to your salad for a tastier meal.

There are four great options: Original has a slight mustard-y taste, with subtle hints of garlic and vinegar, while Tangy is sharper, zestier yet refreshing. Give Oriental a go for some Asian-inspired flavour, or try Caesar if you’d like a mix of Parmesan, anchovies and a touch of seeded mustard.
