If you’re new to Asia, you may not have had the pleasure of celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival, or even heard of it!
Check out this handy post to understand why the festival is so beloved. The short version: It’s an annual, harvest moon-related festival from China, which involves a Moon Goddess, lanterns, mooncakes and other special traditions.
Based on the lunar calendar, this year’s Mid-Autumn Festival falls on 13 September, 2019 – and the in-house pastry chefs at Grand Hyatt Singapore have been busy whipping up a bevy of unique mooncakes flavours to share with your friends and family!
Packaged in gorgeous boxes that can double as jewellery containers after you consume the yummy goodies, you may have trouble deciding which ones to buy. You can even choose to package the snowskin mooncakes in intricately patterned, red or turquoise two-tier boxes. (Tip: They make great gifts for colleagues and clients.)
