Rhyce Lein of GuavaPass Singapore: A Fitness Junkie’s Favourite Cafes and More

Rhyce Lein, general manager of GuavaPass Singapore, shares with The Finder his favourite haunts in the Lion City.

GuavaPass is an online membership service that offers unlimited fitness classes and more in eight cities across Southeast Asia and the Middle East. It’s perfect, Rhyce says, “if you travel often for work.” The Aussie’s been in SG since 2012. “I’ve met some of my best friends here!” he says.

Breakfast of Champions

On weekday mornings, Rhyce heads to The Dabang. “It’s affordable and super-close to my office,” he says. What does he order? “Avocado toast with a hot lemon and honey.”

Sneaker Freak

“Why do I love my Nike Roshe Flyknit?” Rhyce asks. “Who doesn’t love a new pair of fresh kicks?!”

His Caffeine Hookups

Where to find Rhyce Saturdays after the gym: Common Man Coffee Roasters. Otherwise, he hits Mavrx Coffee Apothecary for a friendly caffeine fix. “I know them personally.”

Face Science

“My go-to products are from Lab Series, however, I keep it pretty simple,” he says. One exception: “I’m religious about using a moisturizer with a SPF.”

Skinny Love

Rhyce’s style in two words: sports sophisticated. “When I am not wearing Lululemon, I like to dress it up with a button down and fitted jeans from Zara,” he says.

App attack!

“Working out is part of my job and one of my hobbies,” says Rhyce. “I’m trying to do a class at each of GuavaPass’s studio partners in Singapore.”
