So whether it’s your first time exploring, or you’re returning to old favourites, with our guide of things to do and where to eat, drink and shop, you will be navigating Upper Thomson like a pro before you know it.

Please note there will be further changes to the Covid-19 restrictions post the Phase 2 Heightened Alert on 13 June 2021. It goes without saying, the safety of everyone remains a top priority.

Things to do in Upper Thomson

1. Explore Windsor Nature Park

(image)

Many will recognise Windsor Nature Park as the fastest route into the MacRitchie Treetop Walk, but locals know it is home to so much more. Located off Venus Drive, the 75-hectare park boasts three trails for every mood. The 350-metre Hanguana trail is an educational trek perfect for a short, easy walk. Challenge yourself to spot the pink-red fruits of the Hanguana rubinea, a critically endangered plant found near streams. The more adventurous can test themselves in the swampy habitat of the Squirrel Trail. Our favourite has to be the elevated Drongo Trail, which allows one to experience the forest at sub-canopy level, making for easy birdwatching.
