We can’t talk about subs without mentioning the Philly Cheesesteak and Yellow Submarines’ Philly Submarine comes pretty close. It’s not Geno’s or Pat’s but we’ll settle for this tasty alternative on the island.

We love their convenient central locations (in Bugis and Toa Payoh) too.

Thought you couldn’t get Cuban-style pressed sandwiches in Singapore? Their popular El Cubanos Pulled Beef Brisket will have you wanting for more. If you’re not in the mood for meat, try their Fishy O’Skool, for some spicy sardines with a dash of honey.

Delivery service is available within a 7 km radius of Jalan Kayu.

Tired of the usual options in your sub? Add a touch of Japanese flavours in your sub with their Yakitori or Chicken Katsudon subs. Still hungry? Get some sides to complete your meal.

You can even order online for a pickup or delivery!

Mischief

One of my favourite post-theatre eateries, Mischief serves up a variety of American Street Food (as they put it) and their Ribeye Cheesesteak is definitely worth including in our list. Shabu shabu ribeye, melted cheddar cheese and onions in between a brioche, what’s not to love?
