Does the idea of taking out your favourite mum to a jampacked Mother’s Day brunch buffet stress you out? Not to worry – there’s a better way. Consider The Dunearn, the only open-to-the-public restaurant run by the National University of Singapore Society. Tucked inside the historic Bukit Timah Guild House, the dining room’s vibe is tastefully low-key. And The Dunearn’s garden terrace is the perfect place to toast Mom once the sun goes down.
Saturday, May 7, or Sunday, May 8, enjoy a four-course set menu that includes two starters: a roast chicken and herb cheese crouton salad and vegetable soup. For your main course, choose Grilled Spanish Duroc Pork Chop with Sweet Potato Fries, Kenya Beans and Cardamom Sauce or Pan-seared Snow Fish with Glazed Berries, Mushroom Risotto and Paprika-infused Cabbage. To finish, enjoy the dessert bar plus coffee or tea. Mum even gets a special box of chocolate pralines and macarons to take home!
Reserve a lunch or dinner spot for either day at $55 per person.
