Tips to know

Whilst most of the tailors specialise in men’s tailoring there are some who also cater for the ladies’ formal wear too. You will find tailors creating bespoke work wear for the modern working woman creating pieces such as shirts, formal skirts, dresses and suits to fill up your working wardrobe.

When visiting a Hong Kong tailor, expect to get creative and browse through the reams of materials, colors and patterns. You can choose what density of cotton you want, collar style, pocket or no pocket and basically any other detail you desire.

It’s also recommended to take along a shirt, blazer, dress or skirt that you love the style of for the tailors to recreate in a different pattern or colour.

Most tailors will prepare your order within a day or two and will deliver direct to your hotel. What could be better than that!
