If you’re even a smidgen of a travel bug, you’ve probably dreamt of traveling to the far ends of the Earth to witness its greatest wonders, from the Niagara Falls in the United States to the Alps in Europe.
But the world’s biggest cave, the Son Doong Cave in Central Vietnam – over 5.5 miles long and able to fit a 40-storey skyscraper within its walls – is just a 3 hour flight away from Singapore.
And nobody knew of it until about 6 years ago when this gem was finally discovered by cavers. The cave was finally open to public in 2013, and it’s majestic beyond words.
