Toy Factory presents Oedipus, a play detailing the case of a senseless murder where a severely disabled man Wang Jia Hao has whipped his 50-year-old mother to death. Follow the murder mystery as an officer fights to uncover the truth of this incomprehensible act. The play recounts the incidents leading up to the murder, and viewers will see the different sides of Wang. Directed by Toy Factory’s artistic director Goh Boon Teck, this original play will utilise nine professional actors and eight production and creative team members. Walk through the festive marketplace near the Supertree Grove, where traditional arts performances will liven your spirits.
